Call for Speakers

The ITA’s next major technical conference, co-inciding with the 30th anniversary of the ITA, will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, and is being organised jointly with BORU, part of the highly influential Turkish Ihlas Group.

The ITA has held discussions within the Turkish tube industry as well as those in other countries in the region to research the topics that are of particular interest. A list of these topics is included in the Speaker Application Form download link below. There is a tremendous interest in quality, productivity and profit issues. The conference will attract delegates from India, Africa, the Middle East and Gulf States, former Russian republics as well as a substantial local and wider international presence. Therefore global networking opportunities will be unrivalled.

Pipe & Tube Istanbul 09 will take place over two days, with day one devoted to technical sessions and day two reserved for plant visits. The timetable will incorporate separate simultaneous welded, seamless and non-ferrous sessions and will be conducted in English with Turkish and Russian translation. If applicable it might be possible for a speaker to present to two different sessions.

The conference will also feature tabletop exhibits and a special social event to celebrate the ITA’s 30th anniversary. Speakers will receive a free conference registration and priority booking for tabletop exhibits. Delegate fees will be set as low as possible to attract the highest number of attendees.
